Unisyn - AI Assistants for Busy Families

An AI-native family scheduling and coordination platform. Unisyn brings sports calendars, school events, email, and family activities into one view, detects conflicts, proposes resolutions, and quietly keeps everyone on the same page.

The challenge

Busy families juggle schedules spread across school emails, team apps, calendars, PDFs, sign-up sheets, and group texts. Important changes get missed, conflicts surface too late, and one parent ends up as the family's full-time coordinator.

What we built

Built a team of AI agents with scoped, least-privilege access: Gmail scanning and email parsing that extract events, document parsing for schedules and rosters, Google Calendar sync with write-back, conflict detection, and a conflict resolver that proposes fixes for a person to approve before anything changes. Agents run on LangGraph with separate read-only and write tool servers (Model Context Protocol), semantic memory with pgvector, and a background job queue.

Results

One clear family view instead of a handful of apps: conflicts are caught early and resolved with one approval, and updates reach the right people without extra texts. Private by design: family data is never sold or used to train AI models without consent.
